Structured, practical coaching for neurodiverse nearlyweds who want to navigate the wedding season with confidence โ without having to explain themselves first.
Your relationship is solid. You like each other, you communicate, you show up. You know what your brain needs โ and you know that wedding planning is a lot. This isn't crisis support. It's preparation.
You're in the thick of active planning โ vendors, tastings, guest lists, family logistics. Real decisions with real stakes and real pressure.
At least one of you is neurodiverse. You've done some personal work. You're not starting from scratch โ you just want support that actually fits how you're wired.
You're not coming to coaching because something is wrong. You're coming because something important is happening and you want to handle it well.
"Not because something was wrong โ but because something important was coming, and we wanted to be prepared."
โ Coaching client
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in neurodiverse couples. The work I do with nearlyweds is coaching โ not clinical, no diagnosing, no insurance.
The clearest way to put it: coaching is for couples who already know what their brain needs. Therapy is for couples who are still figuring that out.
Not sure which one you need? Book a free consultation and we'll talk it through.
Coaching โ this is what I offer
Therapy โ a separate service
If this sounds more like what you need, I'll connect you with the right person.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified in working with neurodiverse couples, and AuDHD myself โ diagnosed as an adult in 2023 after it showed up in real ways in my work and relationships.
My special interests are people and relationships. That's what brought me to this work. You won't spend our sessions together explaining how your brain works. I already know.
The Communication Mapping Framework I use with clients was built specifically for neurodiverse couples โ not adapted from neurotypical models and forced to fit.

Learn moreWhat's the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is for couples who already know what their brain needs and want structured support navigating a major life event. Therapy is for couples still building the foundation โ working through patterns, past experiences, and deeper relationship questions. I'm a licensed therapist and offer both, but they're separate services for different situations. If you're not sure which fits, book a consultation โ we'll figure it out together without any pressure.
Do both partners need to be neurodiverse?
No. I work with ND/NT and ND/ND couples. What matters is that at least one partner is neurodiverse and both partners are ready to engage with the work. You don't need a formal diagnosis โ self-identification is welcome.
Is coaching covered by insurance?
Coaching is not covered by insurance โ and that's by design. It means no diagnostic labels, no treatment plans, and no limitations on what we work on together. You pay out of pocket; the work is fully yours.
How do sessions work?
All sessions are 60 minutes and held virtually. Packages run on a bi-weekly schedule. Between sessions you'll receive a proactive mid-month prompt from me โ something to help you stay intentional and bring useful material to our next conversation.
What's your payment policy?
Payment is due before sessions begin. There are no refunds, but services can be used at a later date or gifted to someone else.
Are you licensed to practice therapy in my state?
My therapy license is in Illinois only. Coaching, however, is not state-bound โ I can work with coaching clients anywhere. If you need clinical therapy outside Illinois, I'll help you find the right person.
